I saw the last statue race. An Anon ranger was a cunt hair away from winning. Races are infinitely more "even" than a lot of previous raid situations.

So that time it was close, the next time it's a 4am statue, the time after that he looked down at his dog so he was a second behind, the time after that he was close again but just missed out. Maybe someday he'll break through. Just allocate up to 16 hours of your life every 5 days and maybe you can have some statue loot.

Some of you guys are like a crazy girlfriend that continuously complains and contradicts themselves and then one day you realize - oh, she will complain no matter what so I don't care anymore.

Newsflash - A/A play this game for the competition with one another and with you guys when you're there. The playing field is more level now than it has ever been. Stop making excuses as to why this little thing or that little thing makes it still a little bit unfair. You're not going to get sympathy points anymore.

We've done all sorts of little random things as gestures of good faith in our interactions with (I think) all of the casual guilds in the past month or so. Help kill that dragon, give the loot off of this one, give guild A a free shot at a mob that we easily could pull and kill, explain a pull or kill strat to a smaller guild that is on the FTE clock, the list goes on... Each time it has been with nothing but good intentions. Instead of seeing you guys come a little closer to the middle ground, most of you just continue to qq about the way we play the game.

Do you realize how that looks from our point of view? We don't have to be nice guys and you're starting to make us not want to be nice guys. At some point we're just going to say fuck it and take everything we see. Work with us ffs.

This. It's pretty rare for some neckbeard in one of our guilds to go the distance from start to finish on a mob that happens to go late in it's window. Usually people average a couple hours bind sight tracking, or standing on the starting line. Then they just log and go about their day.

It's far worse than that, Legday.

The competitive players admit that the raid scene is shit, but their desire to continue competing and interacting with one another is a marvel.

On the other hand, the casuals never wanted to play with you guys. Hell, they barely tolerate playing with each other. They each want their own vacuum to surround themselves with themselves and gather pixels.

Remember that 1-2 day stretch when mobs weren't procing or doing much of anything for that matter? That's probably when they got him. There's literally no way they have done real Sontalak.
