Considering domain costs $40 a year and hosting for a webserver is anywhere between $300-500 a year for a small business, additionally you have TS server costs that can host up to 200+ players (both Nihilum and Taken)... those costs add up...

ya, i did all of that (website, domain, 200 pop ts server) when i was a teenager working at a fast food place and never felt the need to ask anyone for money. only real dif is that i hosted the site myself off my own server.

in all honesty, i don't know where you get those prices, but a domain name is usually around 5$ a year, a webserver with a simple forum/teamspeak can easily be hosted on any shitty connection these days running of a low power box in your closet, so i'd say merely around 50$ a year to help my pals have a teamspeak

i think you're looking up dedicated server prices, that is way more expensive and not needed for those purposes anyway
