Spawns on server down is 100% classic, and a VERY CLASSIC part of raiding back in the day. (and lets face it, the server doesn't go down once every hour like it used to, so it's not like there will be a TON of spawns)

i do like that idea of a random patch day boss in a rotation, or just make ALL the bosses on some random timer where first come first serve comes into play. would mean you would have to mobolize your force quickly anytime theres a spawn. (there would be 30 new rangers on the server) | ||

The only modification to the already near perfect rotation setup that I would support, is lowering the FFA timer to 12 hours instead of 24.
I come from Rallos Zek, we had rotation there, on the premiere item loot PVP server. It always worked, very effectively, and was player enforced. Obviously it sucks for the lower guilds trying to get in, but there was NEVER an issue once kunark was released, there is enough content in kunark and classic for several guilds to always have something to do. Competition is NOT for 11 year old content guys, it really isn't. If you say you came back for competition then you're probably playing the wrong game. Furthermore, lowering the FFA timer to anything lower than 12 hours would be like basically removing the rotation totally, everyone knows people can kill a boss at 2 in the morning where nobody has the force to get on at that time. This is why they had euro servers, because the time differentials can't compete with each other. that would mean you have til 2 in the afternoon to engage it, and hell let's be realistic here, we're not all 12 years old in middle school anymore. We have lives, kids, families. If you wanna waste everyone's time waiting for a mob to spawn, then you maybe are still 12; psychologically. I fully support Divinity entering into the rotation. | ||
