I just don't get why any country would take Muslim immigrants. They don't assimilate and stick with themselves, are highly religious, many believe in sharia law, we don't share their beliefs of the oppression of women.

Many have a hostile take over mentality with their religion.

I just don't get it.

It's like we're so soft that we can't even stick up for our values.
religious tolerance is one of our most important values IMO

Let's not forget about Boko Haram wanting to make a caliphate in Nigeria.
Boko Haram already declared a caliphate which later pledged itself to the ISIS caliphate. Strangely, Al Qaeda took offense to both these occurences. The world is much more complicated than your feeble checkers bitch mind can comprehend.

Look I'm not saying we have to hate them or fuck them over, but do we really want Islam in the US/Canada, and why?

We don't have to just bend over and invite a bunch of people with different values and views into our society, that's crazy.

I'm by no means christian either(I grew up that way, realised it makes no sense and ditched it) this isn't a religious thing, if I lived during the crusades I'd be saying the same shit about them.

Hahaha, right??

I hate that we're so worried as a society to be politically correct and accepting of difference that we can't even stand up for ourselves and our own values anymore without being labeled xenophobic and racist.

I believe it's an incredibly bad idea to allow these refugees in to European countries. Here are a few points to consider:
  1. These people by and large are Muslim. Years of anti-western propaganda in their countries has helped to brainwash them from a very young age to devalue the lives of unbelievers over other Muslims, as well as to hate the west and western way of life.
  2. This would cause inevitable tension between the two cultures as it always does. Imagine the culture shock that awaits millions of Muslim refugees in Europe when they see half naked men and women on billboards, strip clubs, mini skirts and heels, alcohol, smoking, little to no halal butcher shops etc.
  3. One reason why Muslim women must wear headscarves is because Muslim men and women are taught that if you do not wear the scarf that it is lawful for Muslim men to rape women, especially non-Muslim women or "the wives of infidels." Every woman in Europe is not covered, every woman in Europe is thus fair game. And this epidemic is already ongoing in Sweden. German schools have already warned girls not to wear mini-skirts for this very reason.
  4. Muslims have a proven track record of not integrating into other cultures well, especially not western countries and regions like Europe. This would be no different.
  5. Many of these people are illiterate young men under age 30 who do not speak the language of the countries they are trying to enter and will have enormous difficulty finding jobs in economies that are already struggling. Imagine the further animosity that will fester when foreigners and their children grow up in a strange "godless" land where they are poor and discriminated against because of people's (understandable) anxieties toward Islam.
  6. These people are [highly] religious, they live, breathe, eat, and sleep religion and devotion to Allah comes above even their own lives, now contrast that mentality with the mentality of Europe which is mostly atheistic and hardly mentions religion in every day discourse. The idea that Europe can take in these suffering people and provide them with new lives without all these inevitable consequences is preposterous. It will happen because these things already [have] happened via the old Muslim population that has come before. Do not forget the first reason listed in this post as to why taking in these suffering migrants is a bad idea. It is possibly the worst decision any European country could possibly make. Let them be taken into a country more sensitive to their religious needs and that is more culturally familiar to them. Europe will only turn these young men into radicals.

People like us have been shunned by a lot of people and it's starting to come out a lot more, I know this is just a stupid EQ forum but people are talking more and this we must take it dry by everyone and not stand up for our beliefs and culture is becoming greater.

I am a big fan of Bill Maher a liberal and he's saying roughly the same shit. He quoted on his show 18% of Muslims in Indonesia (a "moderate" muslim country) believe in extreme islamic ideas.

assimilating and integrating means abandoning your prior culture in favor of consumerism and is overall a dumb thing to expect of anyone

Doesn't matter Lune. In the video I can see plainly that there is absolutely no way that behavior is:

1) sticking to themselves

Or

2) highly religious

We didn't see anyone actually hitchhike, but I am making the assumption they wanted a ride based on the fact they were trying to pull doors open and jumping onto the cab and riding along with the truck until they were kicked off or lost their nerve and got scared.

It's possible they were just having some fun, sure. But I'll stick to my initial observation which is they were attempting to integrate. Completely counter intuitive to what Stasis was on about.

The word is spelled infiltrate ^^

On a serious note though, attemptimg to gain admittance to a place does not necessarily connote a desire to integrate with it. I mean come on, is the peeping tom who enters a woman's locker room trying to integrate?

As for all the ridiculous cries of racism, Islam is not a race. It is a vile religion afflicting all races. This is about ideas not genetics, so stop constantly insinuating brown (or any other color) of people are inferior. The only ones promoting that idea are the ones crying racist. It is shameful. Your lack of pigment does not make you or your ideas any better than anyone else's.
