Star Citizen looks good but EvE and SC are very different games. SC is more of a single player game with small-scale skirmish multiplayer added onto it. SC is leaning more towards twitch based mechanics while EvE is purely a strategy game through and through.

I was so confused by people paying for 300$ ships that i stopped looking it up. How the fuck does that even work?

Elite is similar with the paint jobs. Like theres pretty much nothing to do in the game besides grind for ships. So one of the things they could have done to keep pe0ple interested while they patch m0re c0ntent is add merchants here and there for random paint jobs in the galaxy but nooooooo the only way to get those is to pay real money on top of the 80$ you forked for the game and 80$ more theyre asking for expansion a year later.

Even at a glance what the fuck is up with people paying real money for ships? How fucking lame is that. Really im curi0us, h0w does it work? Like they pay for the ships and they dont have to unlock them? I cant think of a way this cant suck.

Flight mechanics are fun to me. It just needs a game around it. Might get it in 5 years of devving maybe, not paying for expansions till then and i see its w0rth it (n0t likely)What ab0ut SC though, someone want to break down for me what im not getting that makes the hundred+ dollar ship mechanic not be a sucker milker?

unless you count spy's backstabbing and metagaming, then it has strategy.

you literally lock a cross and turn on a gun and wait for gaming fun to happen but it never does.
