Shits so much bluer now than it was.
Well, you campaigned as hard as I did for spawn changes, so you know the box was doomed to remain blue.

After seeing Gongshow, Colgate, and 80 others raid Kunark for 10 months in a way that made Nihilum look casual, you knew it would only get bluer from there.

Thing is, in Kunark you could still PVP a BIS player while wearing some more casual gear. Velious brought about the ability to take up raiding as a second job in order to have a crazy gear advantage over your enemy. To some people fighting people with half your HP is considered fun, I never got that.

Now you got hardcore PVE'rs like Checkraise who got burnt out by the Empire raid schedule. On the other hand, you got people like Colgate rocking 100% raid attendance over a 3 month window followed by 10 month of Kunark work hours farming.

In addition to that, it became very clear to me that many players who used to love PVP because in Kunark there was literally nothing better to do, have had their flame toned down due to the million available quests.

Aside from me coming back which I won't do, this server will remain an extension of blue.

Biggest twists no one saw coming:
1. Checkraise would get a bunch of loot while being semi afk then peace
2. People will want to kill velious raid bosses for gear
3. People with higher attendance will sometimes get more gear
4. People will burn out, never happened prior to velious ever
5. People will be upset that they can't get the very best items with 30% raid attendance
6. Velious bosses will take more than 20 people to kill

Who would have predicted it.

That being said I didn't have time to verify these as they were just from a member of Empire.
This is what's wrong with reporting today check your sources before you report something. There used to be something called integrity in reporting now they will repeat everything told to them in the name of a story. I guess fiction sells.

Jeni=Sabrina Erdely of R99?

Other than that thanks for compiling this list interesting read.

I have no reason to doubt my sources just letting the populace know where the info came from.

Was an officer in 150 man zerg guild that lost every major PvP battle and disbanded a month later.

I would be interested to see the Nihilum raid attendance the first couple months of Kunark, as I'm willing to bet it looked pretty similar to the Empire one.

New content gets people fired up for a bit.

People posting quotes of people you have on ignore, should have the quotes ignored too.

20 failures to compete, and now lives on the message board. Equal parts sad, and deluded.
