Alliances are classic. On Cazic Thule, the top guilds of the Classic–PoP era were The Relentless (allied with Element of Darkness) and Shadowed Soul (allied with Divine Alliance). I never fully understood why they didn't just merge. But I liked the idea that perhaps they had some fundamental differences in the ways they carried themselves, yet the leaders were friends and so they always raided together.

At least I guess that's why it was the way it was.

Merging doesn't happen because a lot of these guilds have sophisticated dkp or other loot distribution systems that can't easily be merged. Wiping dkp is not an option either because it represents all the time people put into raiding. So a merge would be a bureaucratic nightmare. Not to mention there would be uncomfortable questions about who was really in charge. In these kinds of situations alliances make more sense.

You obviously were never in a merger that had managerial brains leading the former guilds. What you just explained is total chaos with no organization at all.

Now...considering the posts I've read from certain 'guild leaders', I can understand your point. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I think I still have the old CT ToV rotation agreements from somewhere. It was wordy but it worked for us!

Nice, were you in one of those guilds?

I'm not mad about anything. Just ranting about how mergers would make your faces look better. That's all.

So many excuses and most of them aren't even funny, which makes this thread boring. Also, attempts to make me look bad are putting me asleep.

I see, well I doubt there'll be any screenshots now but as an impartial observer I think its more likely BDA were throwing their toys out of the pram and playing the victim than anything else.

Note:
Chest was bitching about petitioning Forsaken in tells with Detoxx.
Forsaken was in HoT over an hour before the first BDA zoned in.
Chest claimed that because he had scheduled this raid with his own guild a week in advanced, that HoT is now rightfully their zone. (Chest tried this bullshit defense once before in Plane of Fear, which resulted poorly for him)
I was killing mobs uncontested on red in ToV. Pras.

What's funny, your perception. Actually it's not. There was an attempt to talk to Chest. Then because person 1 failed, they went and cried to person 2 on red, so person 2 decided to intervene. That conversation didn't change Chest's mind.

Now you /cry everywhere and call Chest names and bitch because person 1 couldn't get their way. Q fucking Q

See it how you will, it simply makes you look really childish and stupid. Here is another childish and stupid remark you've made in the past (see below). Seriously, what is wrong with you?

Cloki,

You wanna team up for all Trak's going forward, split teeth 50/50 and lock down VP on BDA? Can split up VP loot either on a joint Loot Council or /ran for first pick.

And then Forsaken left HoT after they didn't get any more mobs. The end.

I gave Detoxx an opportunity to start a line of credit despite his history and he declined.

Be better at negotiating. Hoku showered Anichek with a Z heart as a gesture of goodwill and friendship.
