On topic, you are right though, Red is not for everyone. I think we have all said that a number of times, but it is for some who just don't know it yet and those are the peeps I post for. In part out of gratitude to those who convinced me to consider Red and in part to share the awesomeness that I've found ^^ If it's not for you it's not for you. I am curious though, aside from the xp rate and pvp what other features make Red less classic to you? You seemed to suggest there were others.

I made a ranger on red and got to 27 in 16 hrs and got free loots. And had NO PVP AT ALL THE ENTIRE TIME.
People on blue just have aspergers, come to red, and get obliterated because they have aspergers.

There are two kinds of Red lives
1) people who are dedicated to PvP, get good at it, and spend their time pursuing it. 2) (the majority) those who are essentially playing classic eq in which the threat of PvP is an occasional spice and an occasional headache. pvp affects like 10 percent of my playtime in an active way, but all of my playtime in a passive way. Just makes you think twice about shit. It's fun.

which is to say , from what I see on these forums, a lot of blue posters seem to have a distorted image of Red. The overcrowding on Blue makes it seem like a no-brainer decision to me. Red 4ever. Unless you really like leveling slower.

So what is the best Red Server class? Necro? Mage? Paladin? SK?
