p99 Discord has the potential to be a lot better than Sony's lazy Discord (left in LDoN NPC's in all the zones which allowed you to teleport around, newbie zone quest armour was left in, cazic-thule zone wasn't reverted, no manastones/rubi bp's/etc), not to mention the army of cheaters on original Discord that (hopefully) won't be as easy to do here. No lvl 1 Froglok clerics training everyone to hell in uguk etc.
What other differences will there be here? On Discord, anonymous/roleplay was turned off, there was an XP bonus, uh I'm sure other things I can't think of atm. | ||

Congrats team on 6 great years. Still remember the day that I saw p99 on the server list and logged in before it was "released"...it had 1 or 2 people logged in. I think it was either rogean or nilbog probably. Was leveling a druid to 3 and gfay, realizing oh shit, this is some classic xp business. Still had global ooc, talked to one of them for a few minutes. basically told me his vision for the server to be a great classic experience. 6 years later, that didn't change. A true accomplishment in more ways then just development. Appreciate all that the p99 (inclusive csr, gm, devs, emu contributions) team has done to further the enjoyment of so many at I am sure at a cost over these years. That being said, I am super excited to have the upcoming patching for hybrids, root/snare (pras tunere!), and more. | ||
