This "gamergate" thing tho, the title is a bad fit. Feminists have double standards anyway, they never stand up for muslim women.... in fact they go very quiet on the issue.

Feminism was tangentially related at the start and certainly not a focus, not until certain slacktivists decided they could make a profit off of the situation so they came up with the "gaming is a boys only club" narrative and started demanding the entire industry change to accommodate a small percentage of it.
