Chipotle is at least a solid quick option for $7 when you don't feel like doing shit. It's very much Americanized Mexican food, and I don't think anyone is claiming that it's A+ cuisine. It's just way better than McDonald's or whatever the fuck.

He's exactly right; most Mexican places suck. Lard and cheese in everything. If you have an impoverished palate then yes loads of cheese and grease tastes good. If you eat more whole foods and rely on spices to bring out flavor instead of salt and sugar, then it really is somewhat disgusting. At least Chipotle tones it down a bit.

Personally i dont like mexican food period but if i was going to eat it i would go to a actual mexican restaurant and not some fast food joint. I'm sure some local burrito made by a business owner is better then chipotle or Taco Bell though.

Its "good" compared to chipotle. And Mcdonald's does go out of their way to make their food be as tasty as possible when using such shit ingredients. Even top chefs think mcnuggets are awesome tasting every once in a while.

IOW: My taste buds have been so fried by McD's, they don't know what actual flavour comes from.
