My best memory of item loot is Xein the Green and I abusing a bug with it to fully loot players corpses when they died in PVP or PVE.

Some newbies will suffer losing raw hide, cloth

But when that guy finally loses his fungus... I have this strange feeling that guy isn't going to just keep buying fungis to farm newbies for raw hide and bronze

Esp when there are lvl 60 prey about wearing all kinds of things that you'd expect to see after farming many years of Kunark... and all the afkers/people that forget to bag things..

I just see no better incentive for creating pvp guilds here instead of Velious ready raid guilds than item loot

And honestly if you are THAT MUCH BETTER than everyone else? You'll be running around in full resist/best gear while you stomp the cowards/lesser skilled who will only put on no drop.

It's the REDDEST mechanic this "bluebie" can offer the pvp guilds here. DO IT.

I would rather see variance than item loot but both are nearly equal in terms of how horrible they are.

You can't add item loot, you'd have to wipe server clean to alter gameplay that much.

I am all for that though... I think it would be awesome to see a server reset on here. I'd be all about it., sure, I'd mix my hard earned gear and everything, but man, with bonus xp and everyone back at lvl 1... can you imagine how much grouping, pvp, and contesting there would be? newb dungeons would be WARZONES. And with itemloot no one would be equipping shit, just prue skill based gameplay for months while people level and gear. Would be so fun... like the diablo 2 progression servers where it reset.
