Been given stuff out of the blue by people I don't know from Adam several times. Zero RMT involved (there are no whistles cleaner than mine). Lots of truly generous people on the server. I can definitely believe a friend would do more without RMT involved.

But there are also a lot of shady friends. Guilt by association sucks, but well... yeah.

someone just gave me 100k plat and a fungi randomly in the qeynos aqueducts. he told me if anyone asks he wasnt there and /q'd. really odd.

Now the OP sounds like Gaffin. After being banned again on red he was looking for ways to make a quick plat or two. Wouldn't be the first time he was banned for this stuff.

I am not saying that this guy is innocent, but there are some pretty generous peoples on this server. I like it when I run into a truly non-twinked low level rogue so I can play Santa Clause and surprise them with some plat/gear. Really gives one the good feels.
