So 550+99 for an OS = 649. The PC he listed was $699.

Not such a bad deal after all then is it?
It's a terrible deal...

3.8 ghz 4 core VS 4ghz 8 core

8 gig ram vs 12 gig ram

430 watt power supply vs 750 watt

CD rom drive... lol

500gig shitty hard drive VS 120 gig SSD

Shitty video card just ran benchmarks of both video cards the gtx 770 2gig (Which I have the 4gig version) ran roughly 25% faster than the 1x AMD Radeon R7 260X 2GB that he got with his bundle

spend 50$ to be far worse in every category.. WHAT A DEAL.

I feel bad for any company that let you near a PC elderan

Use Linux and you don't have to pay for an os. Just saved somebody $100.
Or just host a windows party

Got the same case. Same cpu cooler as well I think. Thermalsomething? Anyway..
It's a noctua nh-d15. I got it because of the stats and silence for air cooling, but mostly because of how ridiculous it looks.

Also, i7. Don't you guys think a 100 dollar investment in a rig you gonna use for like a decade is worth it? You bros prob spend more than that in a week at the local McDonald's.
Processor was $170, and board was about the same. I'll use these for a while, and then if need something else, will put them in an older case and resell. I try not to build pcs for eternity anymore, because of price drops. I have had absolutely no problems so far though, so I might keep this longer.

Which gtx 770 did you get? I have the EVGA 04G-P4-3778-KR and that shit cost like $400. For me, the deciding factor for the 4gb was multi monitor support at higher resolutions (4096 x 2160).

AMD processors are significantly worse than Intel, but it's like the difference between the 0-60 speed on a ferrari vs a porsche...both are overkill and you'll never use it for gaming so save a buck.
Depends on what you're going for, for me personally all I care about is the benchmark for SLI or XFire, Amd or Intel all clock differently depending on CPU. Personally I'm gonna pick the CPU that benchmark's the highest with card's I'm SLI'ing or Xfiring. But you're not gonna need to SLI or XFire for EQ.

EVGA GeForce GTX 770 4GB Dual SC w/ ACX Cooler(04G-P4-3774-KR)

Same one you got, I bought it on Ebay apparently a company was using it as a display in a storefront. No way to be sure if they were lying or not but they had 1000 positive feedback and when I got it, was still sealed in box and looked brand new. Running brand new games on the market today at ultra settings 60-100 fps depending whats going on.

In games with 100-200 people in front of you I drop to 30-45 FPS but I'm cool with that.

The card is amazing and weighs like 5 lb's its pretty awesome

That is kinda what I'm saying though. The benchmarks are sorta meaningless for EQ (granted most people use their shit for more than EQ). Lets say the AMD benchmarks at 900 and the Intel at 1010, but 200 is all you need to run EQ without any processor related issues if you feelers what I'm tryin' to get at.

yeah only thing that matter for EQ at this point is hard drive so you can zone faster than your opponent.

and it doesnt even come with a SSD....

fuck man if he took my scraps for 199$ i could build him a pc thats going to run eq faster than that "thing" he bought.

This is why I buy other games like Shadow of Mordor and force myself to play them to justify the cost of my computer.
