What irks me is when I am happily soloing in my zone of choice and certain type of lower level player walks up and asks for buffs. They might want haste, clarity, or both. This particular person is level 10-20, wearing an fbss, full set armor, two yaks....maybe an SMR and gebs if they're a caster. They ask in the following way:

"Haste!!!!" =) or "CLARITY~"

What is clarity? Everyone knows that demands for enchanter buffs are met only with the single letter of "C."

"will you come C me??" Sure, I'd love to come visit you!

I feel so sad for these people it irks me a little bit.

i can understand being out in the world doing stuff and not wanting to have to buff people, but the people who sit in EC and dont buff is pointless, youre sitting there staring at chat.

whenever im in EC i buff whoever asks if im not afk, and usually just shout out free hp / sow / regen to noobs, and usually chanters happily keep clarity on me to help my buffstation.

Oh and paladins vex me oh-so-greatly.
Them and their flaming ego swords, their non-racist Hate shields, their thousand usable weapons that aren't SK usable in kunark/velious, their crappy ghetto-rez and crappy ghetto-taunts. Like rangers in plate without track and SoW, without the dps. Without the comedic value even. Hate em!

And how three complete sets of valorium drop before one complete set of umbral plate!

And those stupid STUPID spell/item -names. "Benevolence", "Heroism", "Valor", "Valorium", "blergh", "urgh", and "blargh"!

Srsly hate their crappy buffs. Keep that lowbie +60max hp effect-hog away from me - I'll get hit with an Inner Fire rather; if I am to go gimp-buffs I'll go all the way.

Or offensive/crude names, Like Bignadsgaydad, Zanehasdowns, Sieg Heil, Busta Nut, Bulldyke, and other junk.

Granted, some are kinda funny, like Murderwhale, Sackpuncher, and such. Not sure where I would draw the line there.

At least I've stopped seeing people with names that have blatant profanity in them, like Fukface and stuff.
