That is assuming he was naming his toon after the transformer and not an actual Sound Wave(which would fit with a bard). AND you don't know him.. maybe he did name it after the transformer because he LOVED transformers.. fuck.. lots of reason he could have chose the name.. but that doesn't automatically make him a liar.

I used to be in a guild called <Omega> that was pure Taiwan. I couldn't understand a damn thing that they said, yet me and my buddies mentioned previously raided with them. The leader was called 'XX' and I want to say his name was Xanzox or something like taht - it ended and started with X.

Every person in that guild had their name starting with 'Gan'. Literally.

'Gansos', 'Gandidadi', 'Gansacco', the list is exhaustive.

There was a female toon named 'Bimoon' who would send me the weirdest broken english messages all the time implying something sexual. She would emote at me during raids nonstop, and they apparently all thought it was very funny. We used to get up VERY early in the morning to raid with them. I would usually copy/paste what they wrote, and send it back into guildchat with a '???????' at the end, which was also apparently hilarious to them.
