In other news, The TMO/FE merger left me scratching my head. I recall quite some few folks in FE saying how they'd "never" join TMO. Things change over time, perhaps, but to an outsider it does make such absolute comments look a bit silly in hindsight.

When FE and IB were joint raiding they were getting majority. Then FE and TMO joint raided and they got majority.

Pixels were coming either way. IB just tried to strong arm a merger and TMO played it cool.

Nothing against my IB friends, because it didn't have anything to do with them personally. But I feel it was more that FE was chased away from IB, by whomever was negotiating terms. TMO was just the other logical option.
