I think at one point yesterday while he was arguing in the petition forum I thought to myself "god damn, this guy has to be a troll, he must not actually care and is just sitting at his keyboard making himself laugh....somehow"

Then I realized no... OP is just socially handicapped, and really doesn't think he did anything wrong.

Socially handicapped? How could you even tell that by reading text off of a screen? Do you know me personally? No, you do not.

I admitted to doing something wrong. How could I "really" not think I didn't do anything wrong when I admitted my faults?

I'm surprised you got two characters above 50 while still being so ignorant about how things work on p99. Post a petition explaining what your issue is, and then just leave it there. No one is being paid to respond to every post in there in X timeframe, you will receive a response in due time. If you decide to insult someone, repeatedly, why would they feel like helping you?

Also why even bother asking for a gm res? Just spend a bit of pp and get a cleric to help you, and if you lose a corpse get a bard or necro or whoever else can find/summon corpses. The beauty of EQ is the reliance on other people to get stuff done, it's what forms the community bonds that are so lacking in so many other mmos.

If you really, actually want your account back then stop posting, wait a month and post a new petition apologizing for your behaviour and kindly requesting your account to be unbanned. Spend the month reflecting on how treating people respectfully could improve your social interactions not just in EQ and on forums, but in your regular day to day life as well.

Quido who posted earlier in this thread had his accounts permanently banned. Then he waited a couple months, respectfully asked for his accounts to be unbanned, and voila he was back.

Why was his account banned? For text or for cheating? And I respectfully asked for an answer, not to have my account back, just for a timeframe. I couldn't even get that.

What you guys fail to understand is the only reason I went off is because I wasn't deserving of a ban in the first place. I fucked up. I said "you only res your friends" after I had died for the second time to a ddos attack. After I had come home from work. I was stressed, and I took out my frustration on the wrong person. However, I did it privately, not publicly. I don't deserve to never be able to have access to my account again just because of that. I never wanted it to get to this point either, I just wanted to play Everquest here.
