Every person on P99 has the opportunity to experience high-end content. You have your options of FE/IB or TMO for the most part - neither are closed on recruitment. As is the nature of any MMO, whether it be on an emulated server or live, the element of competition and time invested will determine what level of content you want to/will see.

Without contested spawns there is no real competition. Eqnext is gonna suck just like eq2 did after a few years. The only thing that makes p99 a bitch to play is that the content is bottlenecked. Join a guild and have fun. Best you can do.

No, I don't see the problem at all. In the drawing scenario everyone on the server has an equal chance of getting to see Vox and Naggy. Might take them awhile to win a drawing, but they can always work with the people who do win if they're impatient. And even if they do have to wait awhile, even a whole year, that still beats ... never.
In the current scenario, one guild is the only one that gets to see either dragon. Seems like the drawing is a lot better for everyone on the server except TMO, and the current situtaion is good for ... TMO.

After Velious turns into the same situation, I hope they add PoP, but only have it set up as a Wiz port to the Plane of Tranquility, completely leave out the plane of Knowledge. AA's and a ton of raid targets should satisfy the player base.
Until an influx of new players happens, then we have a new problem.

1 naggy / vox a month ffa for newbies shouldnt be such a big deal. But 10 years into kunark here we are.

None of those things are new to me. And none of those things change the fact that it wasn't like this for most people on live, which is all that I was "prove it"ing.
