Pretty sure the people that don't get banned from Nih/Azr in the up coming weeks will have to form a new guild in order to slay the dragons.

You only need to read the OOC on p99pvp.com for a couple pages to realize what this server is all about, it's a wonder how people even play here with the amount of toxic hate that seethes from both sides of the fence, looking at it from outsider pov as do Sirken's and the GM's I'm shocked that they even stick around to police it.

Toxic hate on both sides. Mostly Nihilums though. Just a lot of raging neckbeards in Azrael with some more vocal players (Syft). But the true hatred and desire to wreck the game for everyone comes from deep within Nihilum. Who put for the effort to truly be genuine jerks.

Syft is definitely not Azrael.

As far as gorilla tactics go. It's usually nihilum who resorts to this because they will never beat us straight up in PvP. Except that one time, when we charged them 21v35. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Ok, I don't want to be pinned for "Trolling" just a suggestion here.

If it is this bad, why not make a sticky of ALL RULES of in game behavior and actions and list what is bannable and what is acceptable.

wouldn't this clear up most if not all confusion... I would also suggest not allowing people access to reply to it.

In my personal opinion, GM's should never take anything personally. Regardless how personal it may sound. You guys are like referee's no matter what the fans think you have to move past it and make the call that you think is right for the game. allowing people to even reply to this post seems to be raising tempers.

The people who have committed said bannable offenses know who they are, and my viewpoint is the common community does not need to know your reasoning for banning said person. (of course being it was a legitimate reason for banning)

Now I also understand this is not a pay to play game and GM's are not paid employees, but what you have here is awesome and it should be treated as if it is a game generating lots of money just like a business. IMO this will not only ease tension within the community but will also make the game more enjoyable for the "victims" of the offenses.

Again this is just my 2 cents. to sum up GM's should not even be allowed to be spoken to in such manner I have seen on this post, Nor should they have social interaction with other players that can create a conflict of interest. While I believe they should be able to enjoy the game just as everyone else, maybe a chain of command where a ban has to go up to a higher authority to make the final call on a ban. Yeah this is a classic case of staff emotional blowup. Everyone either has to calmly agree with the lead GM (like you see in this thread so far) or face the possibility of being banned by someone whose lost the ability to be a leader and has simply thrown down an emotional gauntlet to try and gain respect. The thread wreaks of immaturity, especially considering he locks/deletes other threads that had discussion. It's basically akin to the kid in the neighborhood who would bring his football over to play with the rest of the kids, get mad, and run home with the ball.

How can a player base possibly have a legitimate discussion when the head staff member throws tantrums on the forums when the structure of his server policy is picked apart for 2 pages in one thread and he gets super emotional? Reminds me of the LAST GM.

Why don't you just post a list of rules that players are to follow and the consequences of breaking them, and follow through - or don't have rules at all, it worked with SZ. Instead you play this game of making rules up on the spot or having rules that apply "occassionally" or "most of the time" with differing penalties and no transparency, and then you cry foul when you get called on it. The staff here has had 2 years to make policy and stick to it, instead you've spent 2 years pointing the finger at the users and deleting posts/threads and banning posters on the forums to cover your mistakes.

Try having meaningful discussion instead of throwing a cryfit like this thread.
