im pretty much done being the facilitator of guild merges and putting guilds on my back personally, its tired me out. so i will be a loner from now on. If there is nihilum pvp shoot me a tell, if you want to exp, shoot me a tell. I just cant do it anymore for everyone else. Someone elses job from now on. also, if you want to be the dude who brings this server back from the brink and raises a army to combat nihilum, i leveled up characters anon, and would exp with people i could confirm were new, and would then "join" my guild with them together. without leveling up those cleric chanters along side the new pop they never make it past 30. Just something to think about.

You guys are insane for thinking there are so many people that want to play on this server.
With the perfect ruleset, the perfect community, and all of the people who started and quit with intentions of playing long term back you're looking at 300-400 people tops. EQ PvP has NEVER been anywhere as close to as popular as PVE, and blue pulls in ~1000 players on a good night. Best case scenario for red is getting maybe a 1/3rd of that. This is a dead game we play bros, new blood is not coming in at a fast pace, and all the old blood together is only going to combine for a given fraction of what blue has, just like happened on live. It's never happened, it will never happen. Enjoy what we've got. (I'm not saying it can't be better, but I think the idea of having blue-like population on the box and every zone full and inviting to new players is a pipe-dream. Players are always going to be soloing at low levels here because of nobody to group with. Any change or event would only be temporary at best).

A quick PL to ten doesn't hurt. But if I got on Vari or Niem, or took over Miria and dedicated my time to constant PLing it would probably hurt the server more. I'm all in favor of people having a lot of random alts though. But having a few different alts to pvp in many diff zones is a huge time investment I'm not currently willing to undertake having chars locked at a specific level yet. I don't have a main even. So I don't blame you or anyone from Lite, to Max, to Sam, to the Swedes for not coaching new players. There's not enough of us to do it. *** Quick update, not that being antisocial is bad, but Red99 does attract more antisocial people then blue. The demographics of this server are nothing like live or blue.

Keep thinking concretely. I provided multiple options that are not concrete. You keep complaining about having to bribe people into your favor'd guild of the month. /testbuff to 25 with bloodstained mantle would alleviate a lot of your hardship. The reason I display the ignore screen shot is so you don't feel the need to needlessly reply to what you think is my needless opinion. Which is what you do. A lot. Much like Dullah =)

Seary bringing lots of whitespace to the table. Definitely will help bring up population.

My experience starting on this server this month: the few people I run into in PvP range are almost all either twinks or downleveled toons with tons of resist gear. I'm almost never able to land spells on these guys, so all I can really do is try to avoid PvP.
I think teams could help as then there'd at least be some folks around not out to gank you. Not sure about the suggestion to change resists to make casters even weaker. As an enchanter I already feel like I'm going to be pretty useless in PvP against anyone with decent MR (i.e. everyone).
