The only problem with resists here are cold/fire nukes landing for full damage. Stuns hardly land, but do (as they should if you read my post).

Keep commenting from the peanut gallery though, it's the only thing preventing you from Soulfiring me several times while fumbling through your bag of clickies to prevent death, yet only to die...to a monk...1v1...as a paladin...with soulfire...and loh...

People repost the shit you say from LoZ because you flip flop whenever it suits you.. On LoZ when we were trying to address Resist issues, you said "Play better".... Here when you haven't farmed Velious uncontested for 3months and actually have to fight undergeared your crying for resist changes...

I didn't say anything about you doing what it is you want to do. There are lots of people playing on this emulator doing what they want to do all day but their real life suffers.

You mentioned being financially set and successful in life outside of this game while putting in 14 hours a day on everquest.

It's hard to argue this with you since our opinions of being successful are different. By what you described being homeless and bouncing a ball against a wall 14 hours a day would be successful if that is what you wanted to do.

Resists are definitely broken. Need to be seeing full resists on draughts and force wizards to be using lures again. Just like classic.

Spells always have had a 5% chance of randomly landing. So dragon being snared/stunned/rooted once out of 100 is more than ok.

Here is the bottom line. We've been doing fine with the same resist code for quite some time. You win some, you lose some. You just cant get over the fact that you need a higher skill to win vs people who, well, know the game better than you.

Cwall, I don't think you are self proclaimed most pvp solo melee. You always had someone with you 80% of the time. Unless you went to camp noobs (quite often).

Stories get skewed so much by ego its pretty hilarious. Again, fact is jack, we dealt with it, BW dealt with it, Doomfist has dealt with it, and yet here you are crying about a stun landing every now and then.

My input, if it isn't as obviously stated, is the resists are fine. I think you need to re-evaluate your choice on gear to compensate for you lower play style.
Remember boys, this isn't live. It's a progressive server built by incredibly awesome people. The goal is to balance pvp. A cleric (me) landing 1 stun out of 9 casts (which costs about 1000m) should be acceptable. It's a risk that sometimes pays off.
