went to therapy today and they measured that I have 90 degrees in proximal, 20 in middle, and 5 in distal (all are supposed to go to 90, make a fist and look). So while I can't make a fist or give ppl the bird yet, it means my tendon didnt fully rupture after surgery and theres hope for even more movement (It was thought I'd have 0 in middle and distal). The gave me silly putty to play with I'm like a cat with yarn

they give you tan or yellow??

yellow it seems a lil weak but then again they only said 8 mins twice a day so it dont get all strained

1. Squeeze and rotate the putty in your hand, also complete with just finger tips.
2. Roll putty into cylinder and pinch with thumb and index.
3. Flatten into a pancake and slide finger along top to crease.
4. Loop putty along closed finger and straighten against it

went to surgeon today. she wants to put me back under the knife... two more times.

make a bird/owl with your fingers/hand and then look at your wrist. the tendon that pokes out is what shes gonna replace

I will have plastic rod in my finger for 3 months after the first surgery, then she'll give me a real big ass scar going down my wrist to pull that tendon out
