Once you do that, you can believe anything you like, and are freed of the bondage of religion. I'm on the "I don't care enough to think about it" end of the agnostic spectrum when it comes to questions of god, but there are agnostics with a wide variety of beliefs / conjectures / fables / creation myths. I can really respect people who come at it from that point of view.

Actually, I do know the difference very well.

As far as the evolution/entropy(2nd law etc) argument goes - that's a stupid debate for one reason - Evolution is still a scientific theory. If it were actual law and we thought we knew everything there is to know about evolution, then you could try to parrot that argument ( which im willing to bet you hardly understand and are just parroting because it gives you that "Hah! Gotcha!" feeling against evolution.")

Also, if you want signs of visible evolution, please reas about the cit+ experiment.

On a personal note, and maybe it is just me, but I find it ironic that a person who seems to be preaching a religion that teaches you to be humble, your posts are quite arrogant. I find the hypocrisy quite funny. Please continue.

Distilling the idiocy displayed herein as a logical fallacy delivers lulz to those of us who can comprehend this sentence properly, but is actually quite a serious miscalculation of the level of derp we're dealing with.

Not being able to understand a logical fallacy is a level of ignorance issue, which every single person will always struggle with. This is easy to empathize with, and in fact it is righteous to stand up for the ignorant state as inevitable, and you shouldn't deride this or that person for their level of ignorance, for the intelligence of humanity is aggregate, thus more than any one person could hope to achieve. Not understanding a logical fallacy can be explained away by saying that person hasn't had any form of higher education, a more common state than many seem to think. This, in and of itself, is nothing to be looked down on. Plenty of smart people didn't go to college.

However, when someone actually has the knowledge of what they are talking about it, or at least the appearance of the obvious access to information and a drive to discuss it, and then completely ignores that information in favor of popular opinion, you're dealing with stupid.

Question: Do people who don't believe in evolution know what evolution is?

Background research: p99 forums, god threads, talking to charlatans, christians, and witch doctors.

Hypothesis: A persons belief in evolution is positively correlative to that persons understanding of evolution.

Tests:
a.) survey people who state they do not believe in evolution on their knowledge of evolution.
b.) summarize evolution to a similar degree of sophistication as the highest level found in a.

Analysis: compare the results from A and B. conclude and revise hypothesis if necessary.
