I don't like to get into nonsense forum wars, but this was a bit after the fight was over:

I also have tells from people inside Azrael, prior to the Fear fight, saying things to the effect of: "We have 45 fucking people online, why the hell aren't we engaging yet?!"
Arguing the numbers at this point is moot. You guys had "roughly" 45 Azrael + Force + Curse. We had "roughly" 25. I would say the lower levels in Curse and maybe some Force evened out with some of our lower level and newer apps. So you're still looking at ALMOST a 2:1 numbers advantage. In hindsight, we probably should've moved the fight to North Wall in Fear, but we stood our ground and fought 'til the end. We were also missing about 6 of our geared melees. Game changing? Maybe - not for me to say, but our makeup was also less than fantastic. Still, we fought. And we did quite well early on. The Fear fight was actually leaning in our favor for probably the first 40-50% of the fight. At some point it tilted in the opposite direction when the Fear portal turned into the door of a clown car and people just kept pouring out. Such is the nature of EQ PVP though.
Point is, we got outnumbered 2:1, we got outplayed. We lost a fight and lost a few pixels. Oh well - it was a damn fun way to lose pixels, that's for sure. I just hope it keeps up. As much propaganda as everyone can sling back and forth, everyone knows the server is better with competition. Kudos to all involved - awesome night.

Pretty much what I have been saying all morning but people from the other side want to somehow say they did not have overwhelming numbers.
Also for those who say we zerg. Most we have had on a raid since Jan was 37 and that was right after epics. We average 29 people on raids.
They had
45 at ct and
41 at Trak.
We understand we are dealing with a real zerg now and will adjust accordingly.
