Apparently it’s not just the big chuckwalla lizards that will drink NOPENOPENOPENOPE’s extra water when it’s triple digit temps out on my desert mountain hike
The chipmunks will as well, apparently. This little guy today would patiently wait looking up at me to refill his cap with more water. After the third refill he scooped up the cap and took of with it like “hey if I keep this collector’s cup, can I use it to get free refills for life?” 😸 It was about 101ish temperature at the time (Note: neither the lizards nor the chipmunks will accept water when it’s below 95 out though, it needs to be HOT) [You must be logged in to view images. It’s actually a huge pain the ass to post from Imgur because my shitbox of an old phone can’t load the flash on the safari site and that’s the only place I can copy the link to the jpeg. And shitty Imgur won’t let me turn JavaScript off because you get a message saying “we won’t load your pic because you have flash turned off and we insist on jamming our stupid ads in your face”
My phone crashed 2 separate times trying to get the goddamn links to those pics | ||
