The post about defending our stores with guns isn’t true. Stores aren’t defended anymore, most people are free to loot and certainly aren’t going to be shot (legally anyway) over jewelry

Also, technically it was still a “good guy with a gun” and not a cop who saved the day (if you can call it that after so many kids had already died). Sure he was border patrol but he was off duty and had borrowed a gun of the barber who was cutting his hair. That’s closer to a “good guy with a gun” scenario than SWAT swinging in through the window

The real question is how many more kids would have died if we relied on the cops and not the good guy with the gun?

AR-15 is like $500-800 depending on the state.

they definitely should cost more, like 1500

this is coming from the gun guy

and if the gun guy says its too easy to buy an AR-15, its really too fuckin easy to buy an AR-15.

I remember hearing that Australia has clamped down on guns so hard that a 9mm on their black market would run you around $15,000

So gun bans technically mean only rich people get guns. I can see why the elites and establishment love it

Since the Enlightenment, elites have helped develop the system many voters seem to take for granted today. They’ve done so for pragmatic, political, idealistic or self-interested reasons, seeking to promote, install, defend and reform democratic ideas and practices or represent citizens in parliaments.

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”

In a way, Trump was right.

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

the gun grabbers want more gun control but clutch pearls at the idea of having to have ID to vote.

Police are meant to be a deterrent. And to go make arrests. That's it. They aren't an active or proactive force.

They give rides too if you ask and are polite they won't handcuff either.
