Both of these 2 were a couple of my favorites, just total destruction if used right. But very difficult to use right.

Both tactics were ramming speed and fire at point blank for max damage. A full red beem through someone just obliterates.

And if you're close with that aoe puff cloud you could hit most ships with like 3 or 4 bursts and that does a ton of damage.

You got that right! A buddy from those formative years showed me SC2 on his 3DO back in the days and he lent me the printed manual which holds a similar significance to the cloth map that came with Ruins of Kunark for its cool factor. About a decade later I was able to install a port of it to my Nintendo Wii and us same buddies would Super Melee.
