Complaining about instanced and nerfed TLP servers is like complaining polio used to much more serious disease before they discovered the vaccine.

instancing was the best possible solution to an increasingly (vis: Moore's Law) toxic server culture ww. EQ2 tried to solve this problem with instances + contested. It actually worked as long as there were 12+ servers worth of players.

False XP Rates: According to whom? What are the "correct" XP rates? You're aware they aren't attempting to recreate 1999-2004 in every aspect right? Are you also aware people playing on Phinigel know full-well that it's not intended to be "classic" and don't care that it isn't? You don't seem to be aware of that.

You never played classic EQ and experienced classic xp rates? Saying "prove it" doesn't mean Daybreak have it right, they don't. I don't remember getting 15 AAs an hour (as reported here), for example.

Sorry you're mad about the new server. Just because one hasn't turned up here yet isn't a counterargument to your tinpot EQ Lite server being out of date and old news. Daybreak cordially invites you to get your wallet out again and join the new party (which will also be out of date by this time next year in the sense that they'll release a v2 of it).

Most of all, instancing isn't classic. Freeport and other various updated zones aren't classic. Playable frogloks aren't classic (and the models are terrible, no turning those off!), your "vend-a-raid boss" raid system isn't classic... in fact there's not much there for nostalgia at all, is there?

all your bitching on these forums isn't classic. look at your post count. if you stayed online long enough on dial up to accumulate them posts your phone bill would of been a large sum greater than or equal to the amount that is spent playing on day break servers.

consider the pizza you eat now versus the pizza you ate in 1999. none of the ingredients come from the same source. you can never have that classic pizza hut delivery while getting lost in rivervale.

if your playing the game on anything over pentium 2 it's already not classic. just throw your keyboard in the garbage now and start streaming overwatch.
