Not fair, my wife just shoots up Ozempic to stay thin, and I've got to train and monitor what I eat because I don't trust what that shit does long term.

Other than, I suppose, lowering your risk of cardiac death in exchange for $$$

ozempic is not as much of a magic pill as some are saying. I haven’t studied it extensively, but from what I heard it slows down the passage of food through the digestive tract to produce that satiated feeling

When you slow food passing through the digestive tract, you open up a bunch of possible GI side effects and risks, the most serious (but most rare) being a life-threatening blockage

Some people also think they can just take ozempic and eat whatever they want, which obviously isn’t true, it only changes satiety. And when people stop taking it, they tend to put the weight back on

It’s been tempting for me to try, but I don’t mind the hollow hunger ache that comes along with dieting as much as most people. Once I’m in that state, I tell myself that my body is now eating fat stores for energy, when it wasn’t before when I wasn’t hungry. This makes the uncomfortable feeling more “worth it”

Discipline is insidious, running on that feeling piles it on and feels fucking good.

YESS agree 100%

Plus honestly I actually highly recommend vanity. Vanity can carry sometimes just like discipline

And I think being vain is easier for guys because we have a greater ability to put on muscle to make our “thin” build look better

You know the expression: “That cookie won’t taste as good as being thin feels”. Replace feels with “looks” and make sure that you tone enough of your body to make it be true, and that vanity can take you places

There’s a reason the fat girls are in the back of the gym while the in-shape fit and hot ones are center stage in their spandex. Vanity is helping their discipline

Embrace the dark side [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

from the article: “There are numerous reasons for this, including the tech world’s obsession with biohacking and treating the human body like it’s a machine that can be optimized”

- Yeah no shit, you plebs finally get it, only 2 decades late now?

Being jacked actually shortens your lifespan. The more calories you consume the sooner you meet your demise

The twig marathon runners are going to outlive us man. Sorry but it’s true. Either way, once you put on muscle you can’t go back. Otherwise you look like the Michelin man

Yeah but I’d still rather have my physique than the marathon greatest of all time: Eluid Kipchoge, any day of the week

Dude runs like a gazelle but looks like a holocaust victim [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

How fast is Eluid Kipchoge? Could you run as fast for even a short distance?

It's insane. I've always wanted to run 5km (Parkrun) in 20 minutes and got to 20.32 once but I can't imagine doing 1km in his pace.
