we sh**, we fu**, we laugh, we whine, we socialice the same way as many other animal species do. we just have the advantage to have a more complex brain than any other animal on this planet.

all of us here are actually winners too since we have been able to win the race over other millions of sperms [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

yes, iam a realist, and i love my life (without building up my life upon a fairytale of a whitebearded man somewhere over the rainbow)

I honestly and truly feel pity for anyone whose only view of religion is that poorly constructed and narrow.

Tongue in cheek or not, you're being partially serious. It's the same viewpoint a bunch of you hold. That all of religion is stupid because of a few inaccuracies in (or a bunch of them...) some of the religions out there.

So, all beliefs in any sort of higher power, past or present, is equally dumb to you. Such ignorance is pretty disgusting.

Well I guess you are far superior in you thinking to the other 5,793,732,000 on this planet that believe in God. I feel blessed being in the presence of such an awe inspiring being such as you...someone with all the answers...lol. JK. I'll stick with God if you don't mind.

I don't know how they are able to look at the past of the universe, but they did.
In an extremely simplified example, it works something like this:

Let's say 2 cars sitting still in the middle of the road is the 'moment'. Those cars begins to drive away down a straight road in opposite directions, if I am still standing where they are parked, and measure the speed they are driving away, I can do the math to figure out how long ago they were at point 0. Even if I have to get a very powerful telescope, as long as I can see the cars, I can do the math to figure out how long ago they were in front of me.
Because this is space, and therefore no earth curvature to obstruct Line of Sight, and no gravity to deflect the path of travel, you just need to find the car.

There is still quite alot of matter in the universe that hasn't coalesced into a celestial body.

Yes.
Come out of your marijuana-induced haze long enough to lay that gem of wisdom on us, did you?
Strong work.

You believe atheism is 'bad', I believe that living my life as if an all-knowing, incorporeal, non human entity that somehow created every piece of matter out of nothing needs to loved and adored or I don't get my present after he lets my organs fail and my body ceases to function, is equally bad.

Sad, with a side of fail-sauce...hahaha. No, you would rather live your life as though you are the all-knowing being that somehow has it right when the vast majority of the world (84%) has it wrong. You must think highly of yourself...lol.

Let me ask you this. Let us assume that there was a big bang (talk about having faith!). Where did all that matter come from? Did it just pop into being? It wasn't created at all? It just came into existence? (once again, talk about faith!)

Way to get specific - who ever said anything about a non-human entity.

The Grand Architect cant be denied.

I'd say you can continue to live in a haze. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
