Both parties are bought and paid for by lobbyists and have been for a long, long time. Everyone knows this.

One of the most difficult things on a county and state level is sending someone to Washington and keeping the claws from sinking too deep. The lure of big money is very strong.

And then you get to the situation we are in locally. A middle-class guy wins on a tiny budget. Is coming up for re-election and who appears? A rich Dem carpet-bagger former lobbyist with lots of connections. If you were the first guy... would you reconsider taking lobbyist money now?

More and more get this everyday. But your still living in a world where "the majority of elected democrats don't believe the primary was rigged" (although this is getting dated). Even though, there is plenty of blatant evidence.

Most people want to nod along with everyone else politically. Until you change the main stream story -- the truth doesn't matter much to most people. The mainstream story is their truth.

What I'm saying is a lot of moron bureaucrats, teachers, doctors, whatever, totally believe that the DNC is trying to help poor people ATM -- and the radical leftism is a threat to their more legitimate efforts to help people. Lobbyists are imperfect friends and it's the American dream for both your kids to be Harvard graduate elites. One day our family will be billionaires -- and that's a morally good thing! This kind of thinking.
