Not worried about 2020 but 2024 could be the Antichrist. Pence vs New Green Deal model Ocasio-Cortez in 2024? Or the Antichrist, but she lost in 2016, so not sure.

So you got creepy Joe who might be dead before his first term is over, and Kamala Harris who probably shouldn't be a senator let alone running for VP.

Another Trump term might be unthinkable for some but the alternative seems equally bleak.

That's what's breaking this nation: The two-party system means we usually only get to pick between "bad" or "worse." In my entire adult life I have never had the opportunity to vote for a major presidential candidate whom I actually felt good about. Picking someone who's merely walking towards a cliff instead of running means we still go over the cliff eventually. Both the major parties are solely concerned about their own power and they're increasingly willing to burn everything down if it means they get to rule over the ashes. I feel as though I'm living in the western roman empire during the crisis of the third century, or the byzantine empire circa 1070--a great nation past its peak, still strong in the here-and-now, but stuck with a fundamentally broken government.

The wife watched the debate in its entirety and concluded that Harris is "vile" to use her word and that Pence is at least sane. Considering that both Presidential candidates are older than sand, the VP's in this election are perhaps more relevant than is usually the case.

Harris smirking at the camera while pence was talking made her look supremely unlikeable. She’s clearly an intelligent person, but it’s amazing to me how some of our politicians are very bad at appearing human. Pence lies through his teeth throughout the debate and he still appeared more likeable

After tonight I really want Trump/Pence to win. Kamala was giving off single mother soccer mom who just joined the PTA and now thinks the whole school is hers vibes. Biden already looks like hes on deaths door and wont survive the 4 years and thats legitimate amounts of fear and worry to just go with the lesser of two evils.

Trump and Biden both look like shit, however Trumps got that sourpuss face man.. The one mom always told you to stop making or it would get stuck like that..

I don't trust either of them to make it through a full term. Even if the person who wins doesn't outright die, we could easily be "Wilson'd" with an incapacitated POTUS while someone else behind-the-scenes takes over the job. Biden seems so sickly I suspect that'd potentially be the case with him from day 1. It's a pity too, Biden of 30 years ago seemed a pretty good congressman but nobody defeats father time.

I did not watch the entire debate--I saw enough to see it was about what I expected. A couple minutes ago I asked the wife her thoughts again and "hateful" was the only term she used with respect to Harris that's fit to be repeated in public. I don't know what that woman said but something seriously rubbed the wife the wrong way. I trust Pence like I trust a rattlesnake but he usually handles himself well enough in public.

And Trump has had a half dozen health scares over the last couple of years, is supremely obese, and will have lingering effects from Covid (supposing he survives). Biden on the other hand looks great for a nearly 80 year old. He looks good for your average 60 year old. I wouldn't suggest that he'll survive 4 years based on that, but he's got a better chance than Trump.

I got one of these boxes from my neighbor who receives assistance, he said he had received 4 boxes which was too much.

So i opened it up and read that dumbass leader from Trump. In it were a few fresh things- potatos, apples, a block of cheese. But then there was some fucked up stuff.. Extremely strange filler lookin chicken meatballs? Some strange chicken square chunks? LIke ones you maybe put on a salad? And other things straight out of your childs elementary school purchased lunch.. I think the letter is unnecessary for sure, and the filler meats (which i get if you hungry, it's free, you'd be dumb to not consume it) Will ultimately have you looking like trump, as well as the random health issues that will follow.

I think penske is a great guy as well, kamala did ok but kept trying to rehash dead points and slam the covid response when they tried their best

My favorite is when penske said biden was a cheerleader for communist china

i watched all of it, both of them kept their composure well
