A good question has been raised. When Mueller was the FBI director (years before the presidential campaign) he investigated Manifort. There is a statute of limitations issue on anything from back then.

I realize critical thinking hasn't been taught in American schools for years now, but let me walk you through this one step-by-step:

As per the memorandum released yesterday:

The conspiracy charge may be related to the laundering charge (large portions of the memorandum has been redacted), we're well past the point of "it's only smoke".

Something that makes me chuckle is Manifort's ties were with the Ukraine, which at the time was a Russian puppet, but in 2014 had a radical change (someone posted a live feed of the riots in Kiev on this board). Since then Russia and the Ukraine have been enemies and are sort of at war. Ties to the Ukraine last year would have nothing to do with Russia & Putin.

But again, Manifort's crimes, Tony Podesta's crimes, etc are just Washington DC corruption which knows no bounds, political or otherwise.

this is hilarious for a lot of reasons

1. the left realizing that saying things is harmful, unless the joke is made by lefties. Then you're just an idiot for not getting it (while being perpetually stumped by trumps wordsmithery that won him the election)

2. the left circle jerking while encouraging more people who voted for trump, to continue to vote for trump, especially against a democratic socialist in 2020 because they dont 'get the joke' and think the left actually are becoming communists
