I don't understand why you would even consider using the original UI from when EQ first launched. I played EQ when the original UI was still existed and when it changed the game play was much better. These changes were made for a reason. The reason I enjoy playing on this server is because I enjoy classic content, but I don't think we need to change every little detail of the game to make it classic. Something else that wasn't classic was linking items, so if you want to make the game classic you would have to take that out as well, and I don't think that would go over well with people on the server.
