I can spam open/close the gates repeatedly and reliably. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I also get lag in perma, at least 30 seconds of it so that the game is unplayable. I don't lag in any other zone. Ping and connection meter all green. Comcast cable, chicago

Was thinking this might be a router issue, logged in to the test server and went around with router plugged in and lagged immediately. Unplugged the router and did a hard connection from modem to PC and still lagged.. so I'm not sure what the deal is. And I didn't need to open a door for this to happen, just running around the King (Vox Prep) area did it for me.

First time into Permafrost on Project 1999 and I was looking for a Heart of Frost.... little did I know that Permafrost would freeze (pun intended) my game up. I too am experiencing doors that won't open and the like.

I've died twice today due to this insane lag... please fix this, I'd really like to finish my quest...

If this might be related to client communication to server it might be useful to know OS, if you're running the exe in any modes (XP, Win98, Disable Desktop Composition, etc), resolution/quality you're running in, and any Luclin models disabled.

Just saying. If I had a pocket druid to get me around I'd go test it myself :/. Years of beta testing makes situations like this my forte [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

We experienced this in spades tonight. Folks from all over the country. My latency never got above 63 (normal). Seems most folks would be fine for 10-15 minutes then have to log or zone & come back. Wash/rinse/repeat. I've been in & out of Sola several times a week every week never had an issue there - it's been quite sometime since we'd visited Perma tho so this was a not so pleasant surprise.

It varied wildly with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes chat & tells were working perfectly, other times it would lag like the spells would (sorry Bleepblurp) [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] doors taking several attempt to open.

I was there last night as well and experienced the same thing. I died once because a door wouldn't open when invis was dropping, so I couldn't get to a safe spot. Logging out and logging back in would solve the issues for a few minutes but then the problems would start all over. The person I was grouped with experienced the same issues.

Permafrost is bad no matter what the PC. I was in there with 42 people (inglorious waiting on Vox) and was lagging just as much as i was with only 4 people in zone. Its sporatic. One minute everything is running smooth then the next you go through a 3 min session of unresponsiveness.

It's weird. My ping will stay about the same 90-100 (on DSL) as all the other zones in the game, but for whatever reason I lag HORRIBLY. Tells, and everything just randomly start taking forever to send. Not sure what's going on, but my ping stays great when I lag there. It's odd.
