Red is only dying because 90% of the community cant handle it, thats the bottom line. It's too intense and they want to pretend its broken. the game isnt broken, your brain is broken.

I hope to god you're trolling. you literally press 1 button and stand there for
over six seconds doing nothing. so much can happen in six seconds in pretty much any other game. that's just an absurd amount of time to be doing nothing. EQ combat is very slow and RNG-based, there's nothing to boast about when you press 1 button every 15 seconds and just because you hit your button first or the RNG gods favored you, you can take a screenshot and brag on the forums.
I also said in my post that I prefer red, meaning I play on red. I just don't have these weird delusions that I am a badass for killing people because my root/stun chose to land this time and let me kill the person.
