Doesn't seem so. The server is focused as such:

I get max lvl and starting PVP gear (Furious IIRC) Free gems, enchants,trinkets etc. ( this is cool in it self, ive been trying out various builds that I didnt get to do on live) to start out.

You need Arena Rating and/or Honor Points to progress your gear any further.

Looks like Epic Gems and minor accessories only require Honor, anything else requires Arena Points + Rating. (including mounts)

Gaining Honor in BG's seems pretty easy, I have quite a bit after only 6 games. I didn't get a chance to test arena's out, but they seem legit from reading general chat. LFG channel was really busy, mostly people looking for Arena partners/groups so it seems pretty healthy.

Essentially its a Battleground/Arena centric server where they appropriately priced gear/items out so that you had to spend some time playing before you got better rewards but not in a way that you had to play 24/7.

EDIT: Wanted to add, they did a good job of providing different stat'd gear, so you can really customize your starting char.

I think we went 5-1 in battlegrounds and just dominated for the most part.

I gotta say I'm very impressed with the stability and availability of this server.

We're alliance, but the queue times are horrible on alliance. we were thinking about rolling horde, but they seem to always lose, and i like winning.
