100k for a 19 year old that has no real job or education is very unusual.

Say what you want about what the "average" person ought to be making, but if you are being honest about what you claim to make you are doing way better than most of the people in the world...and tremendously better than most people your age.

That you kind of flippantly throw it out there and then try to play it off like its no big deal to make $100k makes me think you are probably just trolling...

Those who know don't say, and those who say don't know. Bragging and looking down your nose at other people are obvious acts.

Assuming your not part of the ~20% that can't find a job even after 6 months post-graduation, the median starting salary for students graduating from four-year colleges in 2009 and 2010 was $27,000 according to Rutgers University. Of course, a lot depends on your major but these are averages...

Surprisingly, P99ers are apparently well above average.

I wouldn't be surprised if P99ers were well above average. We are probably disproportionately in computer type degrees, which pay better than average. And we even have some film majors which apparently get paid 100k a year during their freshman year.

Yeah, any reference I make about $100k film majors is totally tongue in cheek at this point. I don't think even Grandma Gullible fell for the OP's post. I don't know what anyone else from this game makes, it was simply wild speculation on my part. I happen to work in the computer industry and make well above the median listed here, so I figured it was likely others here are of similar background. Of course, now that I look back on my interactions with folks on this server, I may need to reassess my assumptions.
