as for all you fags trying to defend 8, lol. And yes crisis core was great, as for generational favorites.

NES: 1 and 2, 1 is classic and 2 is ambitious
SNES: 4 was success of what they wanted 2 to be and 6 was moving the entire platform of video games into a deep story telling platform.
PSX: Tactics just is epic, 7 brought us much and 9 also did some big things but was dismissed bc of 'kid' characters.
PS2: 10 was fun.

have not liked any after...sadly...

VII was my favorite and I first played it 5-6 grade. Not as an angry high school student. VIII wasn't terrible but just a let down after playing VII with such enjoyment. Materia system > Magic BS that VIII had.

Tactics was the shit, that is all.

junction system in ff8 was way too complicated, you basically never got items, etc
