We police the server more then SoE EVER did on live, if anything we care too much. The fact is because the staff cares so much, players have become accustomed to having a GM to settle every petty argument.

On live players were held accountable by other PLAYERS, the community policed itself and GM's were little to no help.

If anything I would argue that the staff cares too much and the players don't care enough.....take that how you will.

(I'd also like to point out that I do not speak for the entire staff, but I damn sure have an opinion. I'm sure Nilbog will ask me later not to make these kind of post again as it just encourages you guys to troll me more)

I'll sum up TR in a timeline of random and true events:

-IB/TR policy: Anyone proven using third party cheating programs will be guild-removed.
-Burple applies, talks about using MQ in vent on every fucking raid until I tell him to knock it off. I vote no, he passes application and is still a member afaik.
- I'm banned for accusatory MQ use (which didn't happen).
- Promised position in TR as a leader of Pantheon during the guild merge.
- Denied at the last moment due to my past ban.
- Various members and officers of TR are caught cheating in the recent sting.
- They are welcomed back with open arms and subsequently PLed to 60.

How would such a small population police itself? I can't even begin to think of how this server would end up if the community policed itself. Just playing devil's advocate right now.

Our avrg server population actually exceeds that of normal live servers during the same timeline.

I can't refute that comment. I can't remember how busy servers were prime time, I think Veeshan had over 1,000 during primetime but i could be wrong obviously.

Agreed, while most of the players on this server are pretty amazing, I have noticed that many players in the top two guilds generally don't care about the general population of the server. They are above us. Sorry to offend anyone :/

I like your other posts. All valid points. This one tho, I will argue!

Veeshan had on average 1600 people during kunark, and it only dropped down to around 1000 when the server split.
