I live super rurally, the gyms aren't open on holidays. TBH they are barely open at all, it's one of the main reasons I quit lifting. Gyms here legit open at like 8AM and close at 8PM. Makes it hard to lift before work or hard to lift after work. Open at like 9AM saturday, close at 6PM. Closed Sunday. No exaggeration.

Do you not have any fitness equipment at all? Plates and a barbell are awesome, but you don't need those. Having no equipment to train with at home is like having to go to the store every time you wanted to make food in your house.
Example: a 50# bag of children's play sand is like $5. Buy two that's 100#. Wrap it in thick duct tape and now you have a massive object. Not enough weight? Someone I know sandwiched a 45# plate between two bags of sand and kept adding duct tape and plates and fucking ropes. My point is that anyone complaining about a lack of equipment with a little ingenuity and resourcefulness on a budget of like no money can make something even the world's strongest man can't pick up.

I also strongly advocate jogging (or walking) for general fitness. I don't care how out of shape you are, you can always walk to burn calories/fat.

Well, if you run your thread the way you run your body no wonder it's turning to shit. Sorry you don't got training partners or desire to lift heavy under anything less than optimal conditions. Maybe the problem is you.
Hope this helps | ||
