This statement was meant as satire, but sadly it's the reality here. It's insane they answer any petitions at all. If I were a GM anyone who petitions anything raid related would be summarily suspended for wasting everyone's time. Then banned when they cry about it on the forums.

Also, I'd ban anyone I still hold petty grudges for, unless they could tell a really, really good Aristocrats joke.

The petition system was set up by the gm's. If they don't like it they could institute another system. Many people have suggested an elf council like on green. They could do that if they wanted. There are a number of options to alter it from the current system if they want, or if they don't have time for the current system and they don't/won't change it they can move on and let someone in that does have time.
