Pretty sure you can level up to I think 10 and spend the rest of your time in Cyrodiil leveling up through the realm vs realm PvP.

Some of these ideas are getting really far from the truth of classic everquest.
Dying making a difference is a big part of everquest. That is why dungeon crawling is dangerous, having to crawl back just to recover your lifeless body is a huge part of the game. Thats why necro's get summon corpse spells, rogues get sneak hide, and why some people stick to peaceful outdoor zones and have a great damn time. It makes perfect sense. You have happy outdoor classes like the ranger and the druid that you can enjoy your life on the surface and really have the best time in the entire game, or you can be a dangerous dungeon smashing maniac with all those risks. | ||

No one wants classic EQ PVP server, you have Red at a sub 50 population to prove it. If you dont make death more palatable then any PVP server around here is destined for failure. Just pvp death would be fine, make pve death the same as it always is

Yeah, I admit a pvp server with no exp loss on death, re-spawn wearing gear able to fight again right away without having to beg for a loot n scoot in tells sounds really interesting
Pvp still won’t be nearly balanced, but removing those penalties might change the entire dynamic of people constantly trying to run and/or zone-plug | ||

Wrong Wrong Wrong.
Deaht should be more painful. As painful as possible. Let people loot their spoils. But make xp gains go brrr. Like 20x over even current bumps. And let people transfer their characters from blue, green, takp, and ez. I dunno what to do about people deleveling for cheap thrills though. Maybe don't let you loot your corpse until your back to the level you were when you made it? | ||
