Hobart might find it within himself to condemn the rioters some day. He got awful close there- equivocating about how "both sides" and all that.

Sorry no, Kyle is not a politically radicalized nutjob. The people he shot were. Which is why he was rightfully acquitted.

"He shouldn't have been there!" (neither should the rioters have been and Kyle cared about that community)
"He wasn't old enough to have that gun!" (yes he was, charge was dropped)
"He crossed state lines with a gun!" (no he didn't, and that's not illegal anyway)
"He's a white supremacist!" (This is code for: he's white and I don't like him)

2nd one is not the ruling at all. 3rd is questionable advice to give your elf-friends, not that Kyle did it anyway.

(Does reciprocity make me wrong?)

Um, I see the disconnect here. What part of "pieces of shit" did you think was an endorsement?

Normal people don't want miscreants and looters in the streets -and- also don't want radicalized ideologues trying to set up scenarios where they're justified killing said miscreants.

But you'll rationalize anything because if the looters are the bad guys, your fellow Trumptard who shot them must be a good guy.

Yeah Im sure the 17 year old kid was a radicalized idealogue "trumptard" who purposefully set up a scenario where people rushed after him trying to harm and/or kill him just so he could shoot them. That narrative sounds totally grounded in reality. What a poor misguided trumptard he is.

Nobody wants it, but when they appear, what do you do? Do you hide behind your bed and hope the bad guys hurt somebody else instead of you? In regular living I've only ever drawn a pistol on someone once, but the one time I did I was very much prepared to shoot the folks I drew on had they taken aggressive action. You might call me a criminal, I might call you a coward, doesn't seem like there's much middle ground there. I don't believe in granting the government a monopoly on violence.

They asked OJ if he'd be interested in a career in law enforcement.

OJ said 'sure, I'll take a stab at it.'
