The attrition rate is so high that they didn't even tell me they hired me to be a climber. The guy saw the recon part in my email and later admitted that was the only reason he even hired me. He said given my Military background that he assumed I would be able to handle the mental and physical aspect of the job, and he was right. I remember my first day there, there was a kid up in a tree, and another guy on the ground using a non-conductive pole to pull a tree branch away from the wire because it was touching the tree that guy was in and zapping him. I remember thinking "what the fuck did I sign up for exactly" [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] I truly had no fucking clue, but I fell in love with it. I love anything where there is a chance of me dying, or where most human beings are too physically weak to do the job like for most people being physically fit is just a hobby, but for me, most of my jobs = being physically fit is mandatory, and the more fit you are, the better you are at your job.

It’s essentially the equivalent of being a cashier at CVS and telling everyone else that they are losers with no ambition.

I also have no doubt that an arborist anywhere in the world makes more money than probably anyone posting on this forum. People aren't risking their lives and doing back breaking labor for minimum wage, moron. And yes, owning over $50,000 worth of GPUs, and mining them long before they were valuable absolutely demands respect. This is not only success, it shows tremendous ambition. Need I find the post where you made fun of me for mining dogecoin when it was 3 pennies a coin? You shut the fuck up real fast didnt you, fat boy?

![]() Like I was legit mining Ethereum before you idiots even heard of Bitcoin. This idea that someone can sit in their house playing video games and earning $100,000-200,000 a year is a sign of degeneracy is LOL. If this was true everyone would be fucking doing it.
This meant I had the technical know-how and understanding of crypto long before you normies even knew it existed. It's not like I just got lucky one day and randomly got rich. This is years in the fucking making. You wish you could do what I'm doing right now, but we both know you can't. Explain right now why you're not mining thousands of dollars a month mining right now? Explain that to me, or better yet, 30 years from now when the younger generation asks you why a lot of your peers got rich off of crypto, but you didn't, explain to them why you were a fucking idiot who was too god damn dumb, probably too fucking broke to even afford a single GPU, let alone figure out how to overclock a GPU, or write an algorithm for profitable mining. I had to figure out all of this shit on my own too. There was no youtube celebrities teaching me how to mine. I was literally writing my own code using my own fucking intellect. And don't even get me started on the stock market. I owned NNDM when it was $2 a share. I owned BNGo when it was $2 a share. I owned CCIV when it was $10 a share. I owned SPCE when it was $16 a share. I can go on and on and on. People like you are embarrassing. You don't invest and you resent those of us who do. It's easy to tell yourself that we're just getting lucky, but the reality is, we''re the ones doing the research and squeezing the trigger while you're sitting there broke as fuck, probably dont even own a car, and thinking that your type 2 diabetes from morbid obesity will one day magically cure itself and maybe one day you'll just randomly become successful with no plan or goal in sight.

![]() Oh, I owned PLTR when it was $9 a share too. I bought it literally because of AOC complaining about it being immoral. I remember literally making $45,000 one morning when it first touched $33. Squeezed the trigger perfectly, and then had some kid on P99 tell me I was a loser who needed to get life within 5 minutes of this happening and it was like okay. I literally just made more money in the last 5 minutes than you made in the last 5 years.
I really am the most high functioning human being Ive ever met.
