I would abide someone to say they are a communist party that operates differently than before, becuse they are not stupid idiots that are going to try to magically reverse the wheel of time to the 1800's so they could partake in a form of communism identical to the form written about the economic poicy of a non global world.
But if you're going to start that conversation with "everyone here is a victim of bad education, and the CCP is NOT communism"
Then you may as well hit yourself in the junk for me because that's a stupid way to live life.

I think I acknowledged what you are saying and you either didn't read it or didn't understand it. Yes, the CCP integrates socialist/Marxist, and even what you could possibly consider communist ideology in an abstract way in its design of the Chinese state, including some of the choices it made regarding representation, the Consitution, etc.
However, when I corrected Thulian and received a barrage of posts arguing that China was 'communist', every one of those posts mistook China's supposed communism for its actual authoritarianism. And those posts were the cause for my comment, not necessarily you specifically.
Like J said, China is as much Communist as the UK is a monarchy. Does the UK have a queen? Yes. Is the UK considered an actual monarchy by anyone other than American 3rd graders? No. Its monarchist elements are vestigial and functionally exist in name only. The UK calls itself a 'constitutional monarchy' but the crown has no real hard power.
