actually the book just had the dad character be abusive physically. It was the 2017 movie which edited the plot to make the dad character a pedo rapist -- to really telegraph the pedo thing, which is hinted at through the visual language of the entire film, to you nitwits.

The real problem wasn't the writing; it was the cinematographic language. Most movies in this festering culture sell cars, black guys and coca cola (above your head); this one sold the unclothed bodies of children. A number of match cuts come to mind which deliberately drew attention to children's body parts. I am not a genius and this was not exactly subtle; in fact I would argue you are a complete fucking retard if you didn't catch it. Do not breed or vote.

Again, I believe they were intentionally doing "pedo male gaze" as a deliberate "horror" thing, which I think is in awful taste since it doubles as porn for pedophiles. It was also outrage fuel to sell the movie. I understand that this is way beyond most of you at every single turn.

anyway Stephen King is fine.
Sheesh and I thought I had too much time on my hands

They sure do, but my point was he spent like 30 minutes typing and editing that. Haha cornfucker? Grow up you know it isn’t really 1999 anymore right? You don’t gotta keep acting like you’re 12.

I don't understand what it literally means.

Most art sells a subtext. Propagandists, particularly in the commiesphere, were renowned for their use of the film medium in its early history. It is almost impossible to produce a work of art which does not sell ideas. I think this is what the abstract movements were about, but I'm not sure; after all I am just a normal person with a brain and I wouldn't waste your time with any pretense of brilliance.

The products I referenced are very common commodities included in many works of film and other art. They are so included with the intent to induce sales. This is called "product placement". Other behaviors, norms, and ideas can also be driven into the minds of a population by "product placement" in art.

so you're saying the movies sell black people as a concept

There are many films which sell social concepts hamfistedly. I would point you to that "Ghostbusters" movie awhileback to reference an instance that may have been fed to you with peer approval and spoon.

There is also the fact that we had not had a White Disney princess for like 50 years, until Frozen. Even including hers (the most successful Disney franchise in decades), the number of White protagonists in Disney properties has declined precipitously since the 1980s. Did that never stand out to you in that period as an unlikely confluence of odds? Sorry if that's hard to remember back to.
