My wife and I are new, and really don't care about getting flamed. Here is what we see if anyone cares. The people saying git gud, already have the items and guild membera who will camp the zone for them. So they dont care. Here is what we dont get, it would be one thing if people got the item and left. But the it seems like the no lifers or guilds who can canp the items to sell them. How is this not the real problem? Can we not have a 1 week timer on some drops for a character?

Otherwise, all these new people you see joing are probably going to come to the same conclusion we have. That the top tier guilds are shit holes of greed and we wont see anything that requires 48 hours to camp. In the end we probably wont stick with the game.

List items arent even that important of a thing. its stupid to complain about it, they made a system, it got exploited by guilds, what else is new? move on, I never got any legacies and i wanted some, but it didnt happen, no big deal
