The testing period has gone great so far. Plenty of mechanics being fleshed out, and some great ideas being generated by myself and our community.
May 18th is looking like a good time for our target release date. Characters from the testing period will be wiped on that day.
Patch notes below for everything to date:

Secrets - Last Thursday at 11:53 PM
* Food / Drink have returned to merchants. The changes to fishing are still in.
* Races who can normally use kick can once again use kick.
* Items flagged as NODROP will no longer be able to be looted in PVP by players other than the player who was killed.
* Players now start with a Short Halberd*, which is a 2 handed slashing weapon, NODROP, and 8 dmg / 51 delay for jousting purposes in PVP.
* Players now start with a Fire Wedding Ring*, which is a +55 hp ring, NODROP with 5 ac. The intent with this item is to make initial leveling & general pvp less brutal for players so that they do not get one shot by spells early on.
* There will later be quests ingame to upgrade the Fire Wedding Ring* and Short Halberd* which involve a mixture of PVP and PVE goals.
* Added a Backpack* to new players, which is NODROP, Large capacity, and 8 slots.
* Players now start with a Club* and Club* has had its damage/delay changed to 3/24.
* Droprates for global mobs per-level-range have been increased to 50% for a single drop and 35% for an additional drop.
* Lord Elgnub in Blackburrow's snake pit has had his HP doubled, class changed to Warrior, and spell list removed. He has significant buffs to one of his resists. He is considered the 'boss' NPC, and drops hotly contested resist items. Will you be the one to slay him?
* Portal/Gate spells have been removed from global loot tables.
* The level range on PVP has been increased to +/- 4. (up from +/- 3)
* Starting spells are now scribed and memmed on character creation as opposed to having to scribe/mem them on first login.(edited)

* Kick can now be used by races that can normally not use the ability.

* Nodrop gear has been reverted; you may loot any item once again.
* Captain Rohand in South Qeynos now sells (for free) the Short Halberd, Club, Dagger, Fire Wedding Ring, and Backpack for players who have lost theirs.
* Short Halberd, Club, Dagger, Fire Wedding Ring, and Backpack (with * in their name) are now lore.
* Various Qeynos area quests have had their EXP gain removed.

* The mousewheel will no longer function in NewUI=false mode. If you don't use it, you can use mousewheel.

* Lord Elgnub's loot table has been fixed up. He now drops the intended items.

* Skills now auto-train on level.
* Unscribing / Unmemming spells on death now only happens if you are killed in PvP combat, and is restricted to spells that are around your level range (+/- 4 levels)
* PVP Combat is now the only way to lose items on death.
* Level cap will be increasing soon to 35. In preparation for this, the following changes have been made:
- Spells in PvP combat that are detrimental will keep their original duration in PVE but against players will instead reduce their duration to a max of 3 ticks. The changes affect fear, mez, root, charm, and snare. The changes to spells that are currently changed will remain in.
- Splitpaw has been opened.
- Upper Guk and Lower Guk have been opened.
- The zoneline that normally leads to Jaggedpine Forest in Blackburrow will now lead to Upper Guk at the Innothule Zoneline.
- The zoneline in Upper Guk that normally leads to Innothule Swamp will now lead to Blackburrow at the entrance from qrg.
- Spells up until 65 have been adjusted to be scribeable by rangers. Note the cap is 35, this is just future proofing future level cap increases.(edited)
* Flash of Light reduced to 1 tick, and mana cost increased to 50 mana.

* A quest for Healing Spells has been added to Telin Darkforest in North Qeynos.

* a severely injured rat added to qeynos2. Respawns every hour in a random location, and is intended to be a contested loot drop NPC. He's no joke, though, so bring friends.

* Disbanding from a group will once again work.

* Various chat messages no longer use Pain and Suffering or an empty string, but instead your character's ID for some forms of text. Chat remains obscured.(edited)

* 'Someone' is now displayed above everyone's head ingame. Group inviting via target is still possible.
* 'Someone' is now displayed in chat in most client instances that require a character name, such as spellcasting and meleeing.
* Consider messages now display red against players if they are PVP and in-range, and white if they are not attackable.

* Cap is now 35, and spells/loot are in up to 35. 35+ is the new global table level.
* The spells and gear that drop in the 15-19 range now drop as intended.
